Any parent who chooses to home-school has heard the varied concerns. One of the biggest points raised about home schooling is the lack of socialization it provides.

New: Fall Home-School Days at Fosterfields

Home-schoolers of various ages and their parents can participate in three new Home-School Days programs on the third Thursdays in September, October and November at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township.

The Mountain Home School Board meeting is set for 5 p.m. Thursday in the Administration Building board room.

SHS Home and School yo meet

The Springfield High School Home and School Association will host its first meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Faculty Dining Room. Current and upcoming events will be discussed. Home-school program moves to new library

This year's Fridays at the Library series for home-school students will open on Friday, Sept. 10, in a new location Williamsport Memorial Library, 104 E. Potomac St., Williamsport.
